General Information

Our tests are carried out according to the applicable prescriptions and standards

  • IEC 62271-200 (former IEC 60298) (VDE 0670 Teil 6):
High voltage metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 52 kV

  • IEC 62271-1 (former IEC 60694) (VDE 0670 Teil 1000):
Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear standards

  • IEC 61330 (VDE 0670 Teil 611):
    Factory-assembled substations for high voltage / low-voltage

  • IEC 62271-100:
Alternating current switchgear and controlgear for voltages above 1 kV; AC high voltage circuit-breakers

  • IEC 62271-102:
Alternating current disconnectors and earthing switches

as well as other standards according to the appendix to the Accreditation Certificate. Furthermore it is possible to perform tests according to the customer’s specification or according to drafts of standards within the bounds of technical possibility of the laboratory.

Documentation (test certificate, test document, test report)

A Type Test Certificate is provided for passed type tests which have been strictly performed according to the prescriptions applicable at the time of test and according to the STL- Guides. To obtain an unambiguous assignment, the test object must be clearly identified by means of a description, drawings and other data.

A Type Test Document is provided on equal terms for passed parts of type tests.

A Type Test Report is provided for all other tests performed in accordance with the prescriptions or PEHLA guidelines applicable at the time of test and/or the customer’s specifications. It also contains all test results, specifications about testing conditions, as well as information about performance of the equipment during the test and about its condition afterwards.
