Measuring transducers for power networks are particularly necessary in power plants and substations for the electrical isolation of electrical signals and their further processing.
The measuring transducers are available in active and passive form. Measuring transducers/isolation amplifiers for alternating current and alternating voltage can be operated with or without auxiliary energy. Measuring transducers/isolation amplifiers for direct current and direct voltage are only available with auxilary energy.
The analog Simeas T measuring transducer (single-channel) for power networks acquires the current and voltage measuring variables in alternating or three-phase current networks and in electrical machines.
