SITOP DC UPS with battery modules for maximum backup time
A power failure not only stops the AC voltage but also the 24V power supply and therefore the entire automation system. Costly downtime and undefined plant states may be the result.
The DC UPS with battery modules prevent this scenario by providing reliable buffering of 24 volts for many hours. The innovative SITOP UPS1600 also offer new possibilities for diagnostics and system integration. They have a wide range of functions, communicate openly via USB or Ethernet / Profinet and are fully integrated in Totally Integrated Automation (TIA).
The UPS1600 modules with Ethernet/PROFINET ports have an OPC UA server, with which the DC UPS can communicate with both PCs and PLCs, even from different manufacturers, thanks to the open communication standard. Parameter assignment and the diagnostics of the uninterruptible power supply is possible via the open interface.
The integrated web server supports remote monitoring of the DC UPS.
