Electronic transfer systems are used to transport workpieces within a press by transfer tools or large-part presses. These electrically driven transfers are very flexible and mobile. They are designed as stand-alone machines or integrated as a universal transfer in the press. The part transport is performed in the press cycle from one stage to the next by a gripper or suction system with two or three Cartesian directions of motion.
