Optimizations to protect your equipment
Fluidic conditions are important for many process units. In addition to pressure losses they are also responsible for the correct functioning of plant components and safety devices.
With our simulation programs, we can calculate both simple linear flows in pipes and complex processes (e.g. pressure surges or pipe networks). Pressure surges in pipes may occur upon any sudden change in the flow rate (pump failure, rapid valve closure, cavitation, etc.). Thus, for example behind fast-closing valves cavitation bubbles may occur and their collapse may result in a violent pressure surge which can exceed the pressure limits of the pipeline.
Our range of services:
Analysis and optimization of dynamic processes in pipeline systems / networks
Dynamic simulation of pressure gradients in plants during process disturbances
Development of measures to prevent pressure shock loads in your plants
