Digital block I/O with IP65/67 degree of protection


ET 200eco has a compact, rugged enclosure and is very easy to use. It can be connected to PROFIBUS DP at up to 12 Mbit/s.


Area of application

The cost-efficient digital block I/O enables cabinetless installation with IP67 protection right at the site of the process especially where space is restricted.Fail-safe modules enable integration in safety-related systems with SIMATIC Safety Integrated using the PROFIsafe profile over PROFIBUS DP. The pin assignment for the actuators and sensors is modeled on the IP65/67 standardization trends.

Design and function

ET 200eco comprises basic modules and two different connection blocks.
Selection is possible between M12, 7/8" and ECOFAST:

  • Bus connection via 2 x M12 and power supply via 2 x 7/8" with 2 rotary coding switches for PROFIBUS address assignment

  • ECOFAST: 2 x hybrid field bus interface RS 485 with identification connector for the PROFIBUS address setting

In the 16 DI version, nonequivalent sensors can also be connected
