SIMATIC ET 200SP is about 50% narrower than other distributed peripheries. With its height of 115 millimeters, the system can accommodate 16 channels with single-wire connection (without AUX-plugs). For a 3-wire connection with AUX-plugs the height for 8 channels is 140 millimeters. The depth is 75 millimeters.
SIMATIC ET 200SP keeps sufficient distance to the door of the cabinet and ensures the standardized bending radii in 80 millimeters deep switching cabinets.

The color-coded labels simplify the assignment of the wires to the terminals and identify the potentials of an I/O module. The machine-printable reference ID labels identify each individual system component and the labeling strips ensure plant-specific identification of the channels.
The order number and serial number of the system component can be read by scanning the 2D matrix code. Using the free Service & Support App from Siemens, technical data such as manual, firmware and FAQs can be retrieved.
