Delivering Real Operational Value

A large majority of the Smart Meter implementations in North America have deployed EnergyIP to support their production systems and core business processes around the meter to cash process. New requirements have quickly evolved that demand additional subsystem integration with EnergyIP to extend the value of the MDMs across a much larger user community.

Join this session to learn how eMeter and Treverity are delivering real-time operational value around Decision Support, Dispatch and Communications optimization, as well as portal support for Mobile at Pioneer Natural Resources, USA, our first Oil & Gas customer, and at CenterPoint Energy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Dynamic views of data; at rest and in motion. An overview of the creation and use of a logical-dynamic data layer that enables an easier environment for integrating directly w/ the Siebel database data. Integration with an in-memory database for enriching MUDR data with other real-time data sources and contributing applications. Increasing the interactive experience with EnergyIP by packaging additional data streams to serve a broader set of business requirements.

  • Mobile platform application integration to support Field activities. Learn how mobile applications can integrate directly to MUDR using the Activity Gateway, the Universal Adapter, and Billing Export Adapter as well as the process for supporting unique web portal applications. Support for data and photos linked w/ SDP identifiers and represented visually via GIS.

  • Alerts and Organizational Composite Index calculations for real-time visualization and Decision Support. We will explore how to leverage the existing EnergyIP Data Delivery Service framework and Flex Sync to dynamically access MUDR data to input and calculate values corresponding with specific business scenarios, tolerance thresholds, and time periods. Key stakeholder metrics measured in real-time for a unified view of critical infrastructure and resource allocation disposition and performance.

  • Supporting geospatial representation of MUDR data w/ Dispatch and Mobile Workforce applications. Increase Operational efficiency by leveraging the MUDR usage and alert data with inputs from resource allocation and dispatch systems to increase utilization and decrease unnecessary transport and downtime.
