Vacuum switching technology and components – the preferred technology of grid operators
Medium voltage is defined as the range above 1 kV and up to and including 52 kV (alternating voltage). Medium-voltage components are found in widely diverse applications - in power plants and primary transformer substations, fed from the high-voltage grid, as well as in secondary, transformer or transfer substations, where the power is transformed down from medium to low voltage and distributed to the end consumer.
Our vacuum switching technology and components thus ensure reliable and safe medium-voltage power distribution at all times. What's more, they excel in their long service life and superior cost-efficiency.
