Description

The VB1 generator switchgear is a highly flexible solution available for power plant generating units up to 140 MW.
This switchgear is featured with a compact and customizable design that is modular extendable. This feature makes it especially interesting for power plants with feeders for auxiliary supply transformers, break disconnectors, multiple generators or excitation transformers.
Typical fields of applications are hydro power plants and retrofit projects, due to the specific demand of switching capability and available space requirements.
