Construction of a new office building (World of events, training and conference area, casino, cafeteria open to the public, data center, printing house)

  • Customer demand: Maximum availability and efficiency of the electric power distribution system (reduced transmission losses despite the large building complex with 5 multi-story bases and an over 90 meter-tall office tower)

  • Integrated and technically homogenous solution ranging from the medium-voltage switchgear to the points of consumption

  • Dimensioning and configuration of the individual installation components with the help of the planning tools SIMARIS design and SIMARIS project

Products & systems by Totally Integrated Power applied

  • Air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear 8BT1: Max. 12 kV, compact, factory-assembled and type-tested in accordance with IEC 62 271-200, equipped with SIPROTEC protection technology > extra-high level of operational safety

  • Five transformer substations with a total of 12 GEAFOL cast-resin transformers supplying 315 - 1,600 kVA for the utmost of operational safety and a long service life, low flammability, self-extinguishing

  • 32 low-voltage main distribution systems including SIVACON S8 switchboards and 3WL molded case circuit breakers

  • Approx. 2,500 m of SIVACON 8PS busbar trunking systems, type LD and BD2A: Efficient, long-distance energy transmission, high short-circuit strength, compact, halogens-free, minimum fire load

  • Linking the power distribution system to the central control room where operation is controlled by a SIMATIC S7 controller and visualized by WinCC
