OS-Redundancy

Where higher availability requirements apply, the OS server can also be operated redundantly. The applications are monitored for software faults which may lead to a redundancy switchover. The redundant OS server is synchronized automatically and with high speed.

In so-called multi-client operation, OS clients can access multiple OS servers/server pairs at the same time. The redundant operation of multiple OS single stations is also possible.

  • High availability of process control plants due to redundant setup of OS server or single station systems

  • Robust and high-performance communication with Parallel Redundancy Protocol

  • Space-saving and cost-effective plant configuration due to the combination of plant and terminal bus
