It collects, archives, groups, aggregates, validates, contextualizes and manipulates data from a variety of real-time historical and back-end data sources (automation systems, SCADA, LIMS and relational database systems).

SIMATIC IT Historian makes these process data available with the right granularity and contextualization for KPI (Key Performance Indicators) calculations, statistical analysis, quality assurance, benchmarking performance, decision support.

It fully supports 21 CFR Part 11 for Audit Trail and Electronic Signature for all archived data.

SIMATIC IT Historian is an individual component of SIMATIC IT MES, but can be scaled up without disrupting the existing configuration.

SIMATIC IT Historian includes two product options:

SIMATIC IT OEE/DTM

Provides dedicated functionality and a GUI for equipment efficiency analysis and root-cause analyses, such as data acquisition and aggregation into OEE KPIs (availability, performance, quality, OEE and many others, including custom KPIs).

SIMATIC IT SPC

Statistical process analysis in a manufacturing environment. SIMATIC IT SPC collects and stores process data, submits them to calculations or aggregation, represents them in graphical and easy to interpret formats for comparisons to expected results and triggers corrective actions in case of violations.
