The portfolio of SINAMICS frequency converters, SIMOTICS motors and SIMATIC controllers permit the ideal combination of products based on the customer requirement from cost-optimized to high performance.

The functional principle is simple: oil is transported only when this is necessary.

Not the pump, but rather how the pump is driven, makes the difference. Consequently, our solution can be combined with most hydraulic pumps.


Variable-speed hydraulic pumps consume only so much energy that the process requires. In this way, particularly at those times when the hydraulic actuator is inactive or operates at reduced speed, a greater saving effect is achieved.

The pump reduces its speed and consumes much less energy than for solutions in which the pump must continue to run. This also significantly reduces the noise.

is made possible without the need for proportional valves which reduces pressure losses, oil temperature and the resulting cooling requirement.
As alternative to the SINAMICS-based closed-loop control, a SIMATIC-based closed-loop control can be used. This also permits the coordination of a larger number of hydraulic actuators and valves.

Engineering and commissioning

The SIZER configuration tool permits a simple selection of components and the commissioning (incl. monitoring of important parameters) is performed with the STARTER commissioning tool (except for SINAMICS V20).
