Rotary knife

Description

The cross-cutter application offers the basis for typical applications with rotary cutting processes, for example cross-cutters, punching and embossing machines.
Typically, a rotating knife comprises at least one cylinder equipped with one or several knives. During the cut, the circumferential velocity of the cylinder is adapted to that of the material; the format is adapted outside the cutting range.
