I/O Modules for Application in the Control Cabinet

For AS-Interface applications in the control cabinet or small on-site control boxes there are different modules available for different requirements. All modules of this series can be directly snapped onto DIN rails or fastened with screws.

SC17.5 and SC22.5 SlimLine Compact module – the world’s smallest AS-i module

With a width of just 17.5 or 22.5 mm, the new AS-i SlimLine Compact modules require very little space in control cabinets or distributed local control boxes. The new modules excel with low installation times, simple wiring and rapid tool-free wire connection and offer a higher level of energy efficiency thanks to their switchable sensor supply. The range includes digital I/O modules as well as ASIsafe modules with safety inputs.


F90 Modules

The F90 modules in degree of protection IP20 feature a particularly flat design and can therefore even be employed in small on-site control boxes. The tried-and-tested modules are able to process up to 16 inputs on the basis of a multiplex method.

The variable connection system based on screw-type terminals or Combicon plugs eases installation. Dual LEDs facilitate extended on-site diagnostics with the 4I/4O modules, e.g. for sensor overload indication on the module.

Flat Modules

The flat modules are characterized by their extremely flat design with a width of only 18.5 mm, allowing for the connection of AS-Interface even in the narrowest space.

Ease of configuration is maintained via the integrated addressing socket.

The LEDs facilitate complete on-site diagnostics.

Sensors and actuators, which are completely supplied via the AS-Interface network, are connected via screw-type terminals.

AS-i Connection for LOGO!

With the AS-Interface module, LOGO! can be used as intelligent slave in all applications.

With its local inputs and outputs, logical interconnections and timing functions, LOGO! supports a distributed controller functionality. Via the AS-i connection, 4 bit data can be exchanged with the superior control.
