As a telecontrol system for simple control tasks, TeleControl Basic connects the control center with the remote substations via a mobile network or via the Internet. One substation facilitates both remote communication with a control center as well as cross-communication with other substations.
The TeleControl Server Basic control center software can be used to manage up to 5,000 telecontrol stations efficiently and economically. The telecontrol stations consist of low-cost SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers and a communication processor (CP). The CP sets up the communication link to the control center.
The CP 1242-7 GPRS and CP 1243-7 LTE communication processors use the mobile network for communicating with the control center. The CP 1243-1 communication processor makes it possible to connect to the Internet via an external router.

We offer the following communication processors for the common telecontrol protocols DNP2, SINAUT ST7 and IEC 60870-5-104: CP 1243-1 DNP3, CP 1243-8 IRC and CP 1243-1 IEC. They permit the telecontrol station to connect to the control center via public or private networks, depending on the infrastructure. External routers, such as SCALANCE M, can be connected to the Ethernet port of the PCs for this purpose.
